inRacing Fanaleds interview

For those that follow iRacing news (inRacing), or are just interested in everything that has to do with Fanaleds: I've been interviewed by inRacing about Fanaleds. They have asked several questions about Fanaleds. From the past, to the future. There are a few scoops that are not public yet, so go ah...

Sure, I don't mind you posting a link. Might come on handy for some other people.

Re: Fanaleds pressing buttons on Fanatec CSW F1 Rim

That sounds really sloppy... Is there that much play around the shaft? My F1 rim has ZERO play, but my BMW rim really has a lot. I also have to use the screw to get rid of it. I don't really mind, but it kinda busts the hotswapping idea. :P

Re: CSW rev lights not working in iRacing

That does make sense indeed... I'll have a talk with Dirk. But from what I know we can't adjust the strength of the rumble. edit: Do you have V1 or V2 CSP's? edit2: Dirk told me the rumble effect depends on the pedal position. So the more you press it, the harder it will rumble. Sorry about the conf...

Re: CSW rev lights not working in iRacing

I'm sorry, we can only turn it on or off. :(

I doubt that's possible, without modding the pedals or something.

Re: CSW rev lights not working in iRacing

That sounds bad. I hope I can get some information from Fanatec about it.

Re: Using "AFR-FriendlyD3D.exe" in Project CARS

Yeah, that .exe name will currently not work.

I do have a 'solution' however. If you make an .exe, or rename something like wordpad.exe to the original pCars.exe, it should work. ;)

Re: CSW rev lights not working in iRacing

I don't know if it can cause problems. I'll email Fanatec about this.

Re: CSW rev lights not working in iRacing

I have seen this problem floating around the iRacing forum lately... I might need to have a talk with Fanatec to ask about this.

As far as I know, installing driver version 152 for your wheels solves it: http://www.mediafire.com/?znpmjx4jhkkk7at

Let me know if that solves your problem.

Live for Speed

I'd like to share my profile for Live for Speed. It has all settings for all cars (including the wheel angle setting for Fanatec wheels), and I think it works great for racing. Remember to make a back-up in case you want to revert your previous settings. This profile will overwrite ALL other setting...
