I agree it's strange that it worked once. However, we haven't changed anything regarding that in our software, so I wouldn't have a clue what made it not work again.

Wrong. We can't alter the firmware in any way. We also cannot disguise a wheel as something else. That's all happening on the Fanatec side. Fanatec says it's not fast enough for a reason. Do you have a custom car profile? You could lower the max RPM value so the rumble would kick in earlier. Is your SH0 setting on your wheel on 100? We can't help the rumble motors being a little weak on the wheel rim unfortunately.

You need to make car profiles to make it work in LFS.
