Possibility to set a "default" value to the display

Post by Revan »

Maybe it is possible to set a default value (like gear) in the settings to automatically be switched back when a specified amount of time goes by?

So you can scroll through the functions like speed, speedgear, laps, fuel and so on and if you get your info you can let it be and the display will automatically show your default gear after some seconds.

Hope my english is not to bad to be understood :)

Perhaps you want to make a peek profile. That shows a certain function you want when you press a button.

Thats a different way but for that i have to assign a second button on the wheel.

Anyway, it was just a suggestion that crossed my mind while playing around with the features of your software :)

I would think the peek profiles have this covered, you could even do it with a keyboard combination if you don't have enough buttons. Or just use the normal profiles combined with a rotary encoder to switch back when you want to.

I understand what you want, but am not sure whether it will make life easier or more difficult for the average user.
