v2.4b No Rumble in rfactor1 or 2 for V3 Pedals

Post by SlickR »

Hello,

I just did a clean install of v2.4b.
Running Win7 64bit.
rfactor 1 & 2 both recognize the RPM lights via my SLI Pro.
Neither rfactor rumbles the gas or brake.
I have "Engine" / "Brake Pedal" selected.
I replaced the plugins with the new ones.
Tried many cars, rebooted, etc.
No Vibration rumbles of any kind.
Fanaleds while starting up also does not rumble.

* Running Fanatec V3 pedals
** Rumbles work in Fanatec Diagnostic window

What is wrong here? I don't believe it is on my end.
Patience is a Virtue!

When diag works, startup also works, that's the same piece of code being executed.

Anyway, clean install doesn't wipe user settings, this is by design for people upgrading without loosing their settings.

Please try with File->Open settings folder, closing fanaleds, removing the global.xml file, starting fanaleds again.

Removing the global.xml file did the trick.
It created a new one. Then I just had to redo my settings for hardware, such as my Symprojects boards, and SLI Pro.
After that all my dashboard lighting and my SLI Pro were working quite well!
Vibrations now for both gas and brake.
Upon startup it vibrates too! :D

Thanks DirkT
