The keyboard modifier can be used to use your keyboard as a device to switch between profiles. For example:

if you have the modifier set to CTRL + SHIFT
You can go to your device and learn the < (previous) button. If you then press e.g. CTRL+SHIFT+1 The profile will cycle left when you press CTRL+SHIFT+1 at any time.

So the modifier is the basis of which key you are inputting. It's always a combination of the modifier (CTRL+SHIFT in this example) and the key that switches (1 in this example)

Hello Bose321,

I would also prefer a written tutorial/manual. That's easier when trying to figure something out.

We would have to look how to tackle that. It would simply cost too much time to go through everything.

Hi Bose,

Just the basics would be fine. I'm having troubles with the difference in profiles. Is a profile a button combination or something else? And if you safe something, does the program always open with your last settings? Those things aren't clear. Do you use the provided profiles and alter them to your satisfaction? It's unclear to me when you select for instance F1 2013, to me it seems that according to your own hardware (in my case Fanatec Clubsport with F1 rim) these settins are preloaded. But nothing happens. I changed a few minor things enabling me to switch between selected gear and speed on the display but it took me some time to get it working on the wheel. Saving doesn't always mean it's stored within the wheel or the program. Hope to give you an idea of what newbees come accross when first using the program. So some simple first steps to try out will probably do the trick. And that's not easy to do with the video manual.

Thanks in advance, because I think this program has so many possibilies.

Regards,

Marcel

This is still a much asked feature, and frankly I don't really have the time to write an extensive howto. If anybody in the community wants to help us out with this, feel free to use our forums to setup a kind of "knowledgebase" for users, by users.
